in short

I support usability testing and consumer behavior research using eye tracking and biosensors. I started as a research assistant in training. Now I manage the lab’s daily operations, run research sessions, help with data analysis, and train new research assistants.

UX research and usability testing

I run eye-tracking studies for UX students doing usability tests and case studies. I guide them through each session and explain the equipment and research procedures, so they can focus on what their participants are doing.

Consumer behavior and marketing

I’ve worked with marketing teams on product packaging research, generating eye-tracking heatmaps that help them see where attention goes and compare packaging designs side by side.

Technical research skills

I learned to calibrate eye trackers and set up biosensors, then to manage full research sessions, export study data and help with analysis.

Running the lab

I independently manage daily lab operations and research sessions. I coordinate large groups of students and act as their main point of contact, and I’m responsible for the equipment, for studies running as planned, and for training new research assistants.

“I progressed from learning how to conduct studies to independently managing the lab and helping others carry out their research.”

Undergraduate Summer Scholars, 2025

Before joining the lab, I spent summer 2025 as an Undergraduate Summer Scholars researcher at Miami, studying AI-generated vs. human-designed webpages. I designed and ran user tests measuring usability, credibility, trust and visual attention, using eye tracking in iMotions and Qualtrics surveys, then analyzed the heatmaps and behavioral metrics to compare how people responded to each.
